A Tour of Gardens 2018 – Cultivating Community is a BUILD-YOUR-OWN GARDEN TOUR with 15 UNIQUE GARDENS throughout our city. Garden themes include:

  • Historic Garden Adaptations in West End
  • Farm-to-Table in West Salem
  • Roof-top Garden & Historic Adaptation in Old Salem Area
  • Contemporary, Traditional & Classic Revival in Washington Park
  • Gardener’s Garden, Gardening in Small Spaces & Historic/National Register in Buena Vista
  • Bonus Garden with Purchase of a Seasonal Box Lunch from 1703 Restaurant at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Gary Poehling

The Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County was founded in 1932 to help preserve, protect and beautify our environment. Our group includes over 850 members from 22 clubs in the area. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the Council is currently providing over 20 active grants in Forsyth County. Proceeds from our 2018 Garden Tour, our largest fundraiser, are used to provide grants for community beautification, restoration & conservation activities and projects.

Tickets are Now On Sale

Tickets for A Tour of Gardens 2018 – Cultivating Community are now on sale. Tickets for each of the individual events including the Garden Tour, boxed lunch and Garden-to-Table Dinner will sold separately.

Once you purchase a ticket from any of our venues, a Tour Packet will all information and a wrist band will be mailed to you. Materials for tickets purchased after April 15 will be available for pick-up at Will Call at the Garden Boutique at Reynolda Village.

If you cannot attend A Tour of Gardens 2018 – Cultivating Community but you would like to make a donation, you can. There is a donation line on our EventBrite ticketing page.

Farm Dinner

FRIDAY NIGHT FARM DINNER AT CROSSNORE

APRIL 27, 2018

COCKTAILS AT 6:30 PM
DINNER AT 7:30 PM

Join us for Dinner on the Farm on April 27th, 2018. This unique garden to table experience will be held near the barns at The Crossnore School & Children’s Home. Enjoy a cocktail hour, followed by a seasonal farm style dinner under bistro lights. Bluegrass music will be provided by select members of the Winston-Salem Symphony as you enjoy dinner overlooking the fields. Finish the evening with coffee and dessert before you rest your feet for the Tour of Gardens the following day.

Thanks to our friends at Crossnore School & Children’s Home this event will incorporate local produce and goods, a gorgeous farm setting and will be a night on the farm you don’t want to miss. Join us as we Cultivate Community together and kick off the Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County 2018 A Tour of Gardens.

$100 per ticket.
Please note: tickets cannot be refunded. Seating may be reserved together for groups up to 8 before April 15.
