Methods and Mechanics of Floral Design
Presented by Amy Dunlap, head designer & owner of the Winston-Salem Flower School
Ready to learn some of the methods and mechanics that floral designers use on a daily basis?
This meeting will cover the basic elements of design and share some favorite floral preparation and design techniques.
Learn how to make delicate flowers last longer in arrangements, how to tackle an odd-shaped container, and join a discussion on color theory and negative space in floral design. These are just a few of the topics we will cover in this demonstration-only class.
If you are a member of a GCC Club we invite you to join us as a guest. There is a $8.00 free for this workshop. Please email and let us know if you plan to attend to ensure adequate seating at firstname.lastname@example.org. The fee will be waived for anyone joining the Garden Club that night.
