Many, many, thanks to all the planners, judges, clerks, volunteers, and exhibitors that worked SO hard to make last Friday’s Dixie Classic Fair Flower Show the huge success that it was!! We had an excellent turn-out, the weather was warm, but beautiful; a good day was had by all who attended. The themes for Friday were “It’s a Party” for Design, and “Saluting the Garden” for Horticulture.
Please make plans to come see these exhibits at the Home and Garden Building at the DC Fair while they are on display for a few more days. This show will be dismantled on Tuesday, October 8th, to make way for Wednesday’s show (details below).

For Wednesday’s show, the Design theme is “Visit the World” and the Horticulture theme is “Songs in the Garden”. Here’s the schedule:
Wednesday, October 9th
8am-10am – Pre-registered entries received
10am – Judge’s clerks arrive
11am-2pm – Judging
2pm – 10pm – Flower Show open to the public (and stays open until fair closes on Sunday, October 13th)
