Clubs are asked to provide four volunteers to serve as clerks this year.  The time commitment is approximately 10:00 am – 1:30 pm, flower show dates are Friday, October 4, and Wednesday, October 9.  No experience necessary! Our wonderful Clerk Chairs, Evan Dunnagan (336-624-4472) and Kristie Blanco (336-413-1477) will provide training the morning of the flower shows.

Clerking is a great opportunity to go behind the scenes of our top-notch NGC flower shows and observe the judging process.  You’ll see what constitutes a winner in both design and horticulture entries.  And you’ll have a new appreciation for flowers and foliage in your yard and floral arrangements. Additionally, you’ll have free entry to the fair after your shift, so you can enjoy some delicious fair food and check out the award-winning livestock, biggest pumpkins, gourds, etc., and all the other attractions.
