Seminar on High Point University’s Arboretum and Botanical Garden

The Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden will host a lecture entitled “What’s New at HPU” with speaker Jon Roethling, Curator of Grounds at High Point University and Mariana H. Qubein Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
High Point University has over 350 different taxa of trees. Sixteen of their original 18 gardens have been expanded and renovated and four new gardens have been added. Jon will give us a glimpse on how many of the spaces have transformed over the past 3 1/2 years. The cost is $10 per person or FREE for members of Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden.
