We closed out our Garden Club Council year with many highlights - one of them a very LARGE check! Thanks to all of our volunteer members' hard work and our generous patrons we netted over $85 THOUSAND DOLLARS from our Celebration Luncheon and Garden Tour combined, and we could not be more proud!! Leah Crowley, our Garden Club Council president since 2019, is presented the 'large' check (pun intended) from Francie Bray, chair of the Garden Tour and Luncheon Committee. What an amazing accomplishment, thank you both for your leadership and perseverance through these challenging years.Plus, our plant sale netted almost $8 THOUSAND - way to go Evan Dunnagan and Daniela Grady, Plant Sale Co-Chairs.We are so excited and grateful to have these funds to use for protecting, preserving, and beautifying our community. Thank you to every tour-goer, plant purchaser, volunteer, sponsor, committee member, committee chair...so many people played a part and we are so thankful. PS - We also had an interesting 'visitor' after our meeting concluded at Reynolda Gardens!#gcc #wsnc #winstonsalem #gardenclubcouncilws #thankyou #communitygrants #plantsale #tourofsecretgardens #wsgardentour @wsgardentour ... Our Garden Tour was simply amazing yesterday. We are so very grateful for our garden owners, sponsors, volunteers, and tour-goers! You all supported our Garden Club Council with smiling faces all day long. It was so wonderful to be out and about in spring time again. Three years in the making (really!), we think it turned out to be a banner day and can't thank our community enough. #gcc #gardenclubcouncilws #wsnc #winstonsalem #Winston-salem #gardentour #uncoveringbeauty #ncgardenclubs #gardenclub #gcofnc #nationalgardenclub #protectpreserveandbeautify #threeyearsinthemaking #notkidding ...
