Daniel Horne received a Bachelor of Horticultural Science with a concentration in Landscape Design, as well as a Minor in Botany and in Agribusiness Management from NC State University. After graduating, he worked in the landscape industry for three years, installing and maintaining residential and commercial properties. In 2003, he began his career with the NC Department of Transportation, serving as Stokes County Maintenance Engineer and the Division Roadside Environmental Engineer. Daniel has served as a Board Member for the NC Vegetation Management Association for many years including serving as the president in 2022 & 2023.
