Arbor Day Work Day for Garden Club Volunteers

On Monday, March 24, starting at 9:00 am, Garden Club members will “bag” around 500 sugar maple tree saplings for 5th graders in five different elementary schools in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area. Volunteers are needed from each club to bag & deliver these trees to the schools. Please bring gloves (kitchen type) as we use peat moss to wrap bare roots. Wear old clothes for comfort & maybe warmth. This event will take place in a private home. For more information and to volunteer please contact us at [email protected].
