Community Roots Day

Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful will host Community Roots day on Saturday, October 24 from 9:00 am-noon. This year’s area of focus will be along Clemmonsville Road. Registration will be located at Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church, 1170 W. Clemmonsville Road, Winston-Salem, and will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Community Roots Day is a volunteer tree-planting event that takes place every year adding shade, fresh air, and extra character to our neighborhoods. In the past 20 years, over 7,000 trees have been planted on streets throughout Winston-Salem, helping our community earn the honor of being named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Foundation for the fifteenth consecutive year.
