First Annual Garden Club Council Celebration Lunch

All Winston-Salem/Forsyth County garden club members are invited to our first annual Garden Club Council Celebration Lunch on Thursday, May 9 at 11:30 am. The lunch will be held at Old Town Club and tickets are $27.
We will be celebrating the success of the past year and honoring our 2014 award winners including:
- The Nancy D. Sherk Award for the Outstanding Garden Club
- The Wava Howard Lifetime Achievement Award
- The Garden Club Council Scholarship Winner(s)
- Beautification Grant Recipients
Each garden club will be asked to create a poster board featuring events/programs/pictures from their 2013-2014 program year. The Garden Club Council will provide the poster board for this project. During the lunch poster boards for each of our 24 garden clubs will be displayed. Clubs are encourage to use live flowers on their poster boards if they wish! We’re planning a fun raffle and lots of surprises as well.
Attendees are asked to wear pink or green and have fun with their spring outfits. Hats are welcome and encouraged.
Tickets for the lunch are $27. Raffle tickets are $5.00. Please note there are no refunds for this event.
