It may have been a little chilly and wet, but we had a very successful plant sale this year! Thanks to all who purchased geraniums and ferns, we filled over 150 orders on Saturday, April 12th.

Despite the weather, plant pick-up went very smoothly. Thanks to @crossnorecommunities for our fabulous pick-up location, and to our tremendously large and excellent volunteer crew, and to our super awesome Plant Sale chair, @jenbrimrackley, for all her hard work and planning!

And of course we are so grateful for our local suppliers, @mitchellsnursery and @shousenursery for the beautiful geraniums and ferns they provide for us each year.

All proceeds from the plant sale will go toward our Community Grant project funds that support our mission to protect, preserve, and beautify our environment.

Spring will be here soon! It’s time to start making a plan for that vegetable garden 🌶️🥕🥬🍆🍅🫑

On Wednesday, March 12, Matthew Scroggins, Community Garden Coordinator from Forsyth County Cooperative Extension Service, will teach us how to create, prepare, and enhance growing conditions for the upcoming season. Doors open at 6, program begins at 6:30.
